ABOUT
The ensō circle is the physical representation of enlightenment. Traditionally it is painted by Buddhist monks with one brush stroke and in a single breath. Zen masters will brush the ensō when doing calligraphy to express the complexities of Buddhism; to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.
Often times our lives do not afford us moments when our mind is free to let our bodies heal. The goal is to bring awareness back to your body in order to facilitate your body’s own ability for healing whether that is through reducing your pain or helping you decompress from the stress of daily life. Re-establishing the mind-body connection is just as important as disconnecting it.
EnsōMW can help with both.
This practice was established to be able to offer an unabridged style of bodywork that has been developed over the course of Ashton's career. The goal is always to affect change in people's hearts, minds and bodies through mindful touch and effective technique.
EnsōMW is proud to offer a safe space for all people of all origins.
